SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER

Summary of the Position

For over 30 years, Quantimetrix has been manufacturing innovative clinical laboratory quality control products.  We are currently seeking an innovative and experienced Sales and Marketing Manager who will oversee all sales and marketing activities.

The individual must possess strong leadership and relationship-building skills and play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of advertising strategies, company-wide initiatives, as well as be accountable for enhancing the organizations company’s brand.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coaching and providing timely relevant feedback to sales reps to assist them in better serving their customers.

  • Offers and recommends appropriate training where necessary.

  • Networks through course of daily activities to generate new leads and qualify leads gathered from trade shows and/or other venues to establish new direct customers and distributors.

  • Utilizes a comprehensive knowledge of the clinical diagnostics industry, competition, and the client to develop and execute value added strategies that generates business and strengthens our position in the marketplace.

  • Recommend creative ideas that improve the company’s competitive position.
    Oversee all news releases, editorials, features, and social media postings.

  • Supervises design and production of all publications and marketing initiatives to ensure consistent branding and trade dress across the media.

  • Help establish strategic goals for advertising to meet corporate objectives.

  • Coordinates with outside vendors for publications, pricing, freelancers and suppliers including all graphics/tradeshow graphics materials.

  • Manage website content.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum seven years sales management and media relations experience, preferably in a clinical diagnostics and/or healthcare industries.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field.

  • Experience in social media and knowledge of medical device industry preferred.

  • Knowledge of current graphic design practices and web production software desired.

  • Strong understanding of and experience in corporate branding, layout, color typography in both print and digital media.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines are essential for our environment.

  • Excellent computer (MS Office Suite) and budget management skills.

  • Ability to work and perform in a team setting.

  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and competition.

  • Contribute to a positive work environment with an emphasis on teamwork.

  • Excellent phone personality, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; Strong time management and organizational skills.
